So here's my situation now. I've started a Pokemon Black 2 game on Desmume, and the game warned me that I already have a saved game, so I said I want to start a new game anyway.
Now, I'm usually saving with states, so I usually don't mind not being able to save normally. However, in Black 2, I reached the part where I'm required to shoot a movie (right after the second gym battle), now it requires me to save, and it tells me 'You can't save the game because there's already a saved game, please press SELECT+UP+B at the start menu'.
Now, I obviously don't want to completely erase my saved game, so I tried the following:. Remove the saved file from the Battery folder and restarting the game. Rename the game and the saved state file and restarting. Needless to say these didn't work, I'm suspecting the saved state has the current save file in memory and the emulator won't read it again. Is there some way I can force it to? Is there perhaps a cheat code that would allow me to bypass the guard at the entrance (and if I do that, would the game allow me to move forward?).
Is it possible to perhaps convert the saved state to an actual save file? Well, you can't over write the save that is already on the game, which you got the warning message about when it said' 'please press SELECT+UP+B at the start menu.' So, if you want to save in game you have to start again and follow that command to be able to save after.
With the legit version of black I had the same problem, I bought a 2nd hand version and I got to the first gym and couldn't save, I had to restart the DS delete the save file and then I was able to save. Direct Answer No, you can't you have to start the game but before you can start a 'New Game' you have to follow the 'please press SELECT+UP+B at the start menu.'
Save states includes all of the contents of a game's memory, including your in-game save. You only have three choices to be able to save again: first is to restart the emulator and delete your save file (which means all your progress is lost), second is to hack your save state to remove your in-game save, and the third is to use a cheat code (I will not recommend any form of cheating, it is up to you to decide) to get past the guy. It is not possible to convert directly your save state to an in-game save file though, but if you know how save files work, you might be able to create your own save file from your save state (but that is no longer conversion).
New Description or (US): - My save files have come on leaps and bounds since, and will provide my latest gen 6 data instead. Although i still have the black save for anyone who specifically wants it. IMPORTANT: Remember to read this kind of Data, you will need PKHex, not Pokegen. AND do not forget you can drag and drop pokemon from one PKHex window to another! This will save a lot of time transferring individual mons to your data. BUT if you want everything, all 31 boxes, then use the TOOLS, DATA, DUMP BOXES feature, and save to a location. Then, open your save, have box 1 selected, and this time, select IMPORT BOXES, in the prompt window select YES, CANCEL.
This should load all my Pokemon and replace all your data. Link: (pcdata, not a gamesave!) View the Pokemon is in this file (spreadsheet): I am working on a new video in the meanwhile to prepare people for gen 7, as i prepared people for gen 6. With actual save files and slight Pokemon revision. Enjoy for now. All 31 IV is possible but it is a ridiculous chance This is generally made to promote fun. I don't expect anyone to think they can go into a legit tournament without being disqualified. This is all for fun.GAME SAVES.
This is a pokemon black game save To make it work, you need to paste it in your emulator directory under the 'battery' folder. Also the game save must match the name of your rom. E.G you black rom is called 'tootyfruity.rom' you would then need to RENAME the save file to 'tootyfruity' in order for the emu to access the game file.
OR on desmume go to File, Import Backup memory, find the sav file, restart the rom from the emulator, the new save should appear in the main menu, go in the game and save, sorted.GOING ONLINE. On a side note, i have also tidied up my inventory, leaving a select amount of power boosting items like life orb and some berries in case you wish to slightly alter a pokemons play style or avoid item clause.REQUESTS.
If anyone want a particular pokemon with a particular fighting style/moveset/nature/EV spread added, write about it in the comments and ones with most thumbs up will be added. Be legit, like SubSeed Venusaur.
I'm trying to use this to get the Wonder Cards for events. I can add them to the editor and create the Action Replay codes fine, but the codes don't appear to work. They have a different Game Code than Black 2 usually does (IREJ 5A023804 instead of the usual IREO 8E4C1CD6), and the codes don't work no matter which game code I put them under. I'd really like to get the event cards working, but I can't figure out how to right now. Shaba shaba malayalam song free download.

PokeSav can do that? Wonder Card editing is one of the listed features. Unfortunately, Pokesav for Black 2/White 2 is only available online, and I don't have a way to connect it to my game. I used to do it with Pokesav no problem, and generate Action Replay codes which added the events, and it worked great. Since PokeGen can still create Action Replay codes, and has a Wonder Card section, I was hoping it would work, but it doesn't seem to, unfortunately. Just to clear things up, the editor on this site isn't by the creators of PokeSav and PokeGen. Those two are just downloads put on the site by different creators and they have nothing to do with Pokedit except as an alternative if this Editor doesn't work. IDK the way you say it makes it sound like you think Pokedit is the same as PokeSav/PokeGen.

Sorry, was distracted by the downloads page. I always tend to use downloaded versus online for editors. Partially because I don't have a wifi signal that my DS can use, so I have no way to access the Pokemon from the GTN. Oh well, thanks for the answers.

You can upload PKM files using the 'Upload PKM' button on the Slot Page in the Editor. You can also upload Pokemon directly from your game using PokEdit GTS.
Just get yourself connect to PokEdit and test to make sure it works by sending a Pokemon to your game. After that, just go to the GTS and deposit a Pokemon and it will show up in LIMBO on our site. You can then add it to a file on here. I can not find that on Pokegen. Is there a setp by step process available? And I do not have the Pokedit. I'm having the same problem as 'Kanra' above.
I just downloaded Pokegen. Spent 1-2 hours editing stats to get desired IVs and used PID finder to generate legitimate PIDs. Then as I saved it, the window closed. Then I tried and saw that it will save no changes, not even a +2 to the frienship value. It just shuts down and creates a.dmp file.
Also, it can't identify from which game I'm loading the save and I have to manually choose Platinum. Is that common? But it can save.pkm files just fine. I'm playing Platinum on Desume, using Windows 7.
I googled this issue but I couldn't find anyone with either a similar problem or an answer. I have Pokemon Black for the DeSmuME emulator and I started a game, I used in game save a few times because it asked me to. But I was mainly using save states (saves provided from DeSmuME) but I realized I wasn't getting any experience points so I restarted with a code to fix it. But I forgot to delete the old in game save with Select + Up + B and I'm way to far in the game to start again. I'm trying to start something in the game and its asking me to save but it keeps saying It's impossible to save, first delete your old save by pressing Select+Up+B in the menu. I went to the menu and deleted it but when I load back up my emulator save, the in game save automatically returns (the save state on the emulator saves the in game state and in order to delete the in game save I'd have to delete my emulator save which means restarting) Is there a way to delete the in game save file on my emulator without deleting my emulator save files? I would like to save in game as many things require you to do so before using certain things.
I'm using the latest version of DeSmuME and its just regular Pokemon Black (not sure if its useful info but I'm on a Windows 7). I don't think there is a way man, sorry. Even if you could delete the ingame save file, you would still need something like a savestate to have your information, and that in itself would contain the ingame save file.;cIts okay, thanks for the reply.
I started going through the programming and ended up with a corrupted save file so I have no choice but to restart. Anyways, is there a way to trade on Pokemon Black through DeSmuME? I know there is a user created Wifi patch that actually works quite well, if you don't mind the extremely horrid slow down it causes. But I'm not sure how to play this game on a emulator, Pokemon evolution require friendship? Also required online trading and junk. Ughh I miss RBY.
